Ese colega, que diría que estaba borracho como una cuba, me gritó toda esa teoría de que la jota era la base de todo lo que ha venido después en la música moderna mientras seguramente bailábamos al son de The Big Bamboo, un tema de Mighty Panter que Teddy KGB pinchaba cada noche y que aún tiene el poder de ponerme de buen humor cada vez que lo escucho.
Me acordé de todo esto en el estreno de El movimiento involuntario de Lara Brown en una antigua nave industrial, L’Anònima, en La Fira Mediterrània de Manresa. La pieza me fascinó por varias razones. Una de ellas es que da la impresión de que Lara Brown, después de una larga investigación en la que ha realizado un trabajo de campo que la ha llevado a recorrer la Península Ibérica e incluso las Islas Canarias, ha llegado a la misma conclusión que aquel personaje desconocido con el que me crucé una vez en una pista de baile y al que jamás volví a ver.
