Sergi Fäustino y su réplica

Ayer, en el Teatre Lliure, hicimos un pase de la nueva versión de f.r.a.n.z.p.e.t.e.r., de Sergi Fäustino. A ver si salen bolos que permitan que el espectáculo siga girando y la gente pueda disfrutarlo como lo han disfrutado ya en el Teatro de los Manantiales, en diciembre, en Valencia, y en el Canto de la Cabra, el mes pasado, en Madrid, donde se pudo ver dentro del Festival Escena Contemporánea. Tanto en Madrid como en Valencia parece que gustó mucho y se llenaron las salas. Por lo visto ayer, por lo menos a Sònia Gómez le gustó.

Esta nueva versión es muy diferente de la que se pudo ver en el Teatre Lliure el año pasado. Sergi la ha convertido en una especie de conferencia-concierto sobre Franz Schubert, en la que el maniquí de la anterior versión (que es una réplica del propio Sergi) cobra vida y habla. Mi misión es precisamente esa, hacerlo hablar, a parte de ocuparme de los vídeos y los subtítulos de los lieder que interpretan David Casanova y Maria Dolors Aldea, esa gran crack para la que no hay palabras. Todo con la ayuda de 2 ordenadores o incluso 3 (como en Madrid), iTunes, KeyNote, PowerPoint, Mac, PC, las partituras de los lieder y lo que haga falta. En las últimas representaciones en Madrid Sergi le decía al público que en otra vida fui un pulpo. A mí me recuerda más algo así como Nacho Cano con Mecano, que nunca tenía suficiente con tocar un solo teclado.

Sea como sea, siempre es un placer trabajar con Sergi. No lo hacemos muy a menudo pero ya hace más de 5 años que me llamó por primera vez para estrenar con él su Nutritivo en el Conservas, allá por noviembre del 2002. Ya ha llovido desde entonces.

Por cierto, Sergi Fäustino también presenta un work in progress en el Festival LP’07, el próximo jueves.
